Sorry I didn't reply sooner, things have been a little busy! I've had the battery tested and it seems to be fine. Do you think I could need a heavy duty one? My vin is 005783. Which mod is that?

Sounds to me like your batt may be duff. What's your vin#? Early cars need a mod that helps in hard start situations when the
batt is low
