After you have fixed it, I would suggest that you re-pack the wheel bearing
with grease.

I thought you recently overhauled your caliper a month or two ago ??

Your calliper is the most likely culprit, poss corrosions on the pistons
or
the sliders but could also be contamination in the pipe, i have seen this
problem on other cars, but if you have got it that hot it might have now
wharped the disc,John...
