Its the track rod ends, the gaiters are shot. The battery has round posts rather than screw terminals. I think Dave Howarth changed it over when he owned it.

 

How much do you want a cheque for?, and I will send it tonight, I hopefully will try and fit it over the weekend.

Do you mean the track rod ends or internal rack components? Diesel Centre can now get batts with same screw terminals as OEM £90 delivered to your door. My address is on the website

Excellent, no I can't get the D down there, the steering joints are shot and the colomn bush has worn away completely. The brakes also need sorting, I need a new battery as well.

 

If you let me have your address I can send the money down to you.

The ones Darryl sells are nylon and pretty much indestructible, so you
won't expect to need to change it again. I have ordered 3 plus a RH
