Let me join here, Iwas only talking about lifting for reverse with Martin ,
yesterday, It wasn't until he mention the lift that I knew it happened. I
have a 5 speed manual that does not need to be lifted to go into reverse,
and thats not 'cause it worn (i don't think) as there is no vertical
movement at all in the gear stick, it just does not lift.

Is this right if not whats wrong??
