The pully is a different size on the DMC to all other varients of the pump. Its not easy to swap them over either and very easy to ruin. I would try to remove the one on there and have it referbished. Darryl Tinnerset (www.delorean-parts.com) does sell a pully bolt on job buts it still quite expensive.

If you get desperate then you can try the one from the Renault, your car should just run hotter.

I think, its the pulley that is different..not sure though...speak to Dave or Mark.

I sent off my form last week.  I have a very leaky water pump now.  I know one has to do some sort of mod on a regular Volvo one to incorporate the thermostat housing but I don't know the details.  Any experience of same?
