As a none DMC driving participant it was very impressive to see Backy
and Bakntim getting pride of place at Hullywood (arriving much
earlier than the Starsky & Hutch car!). Lots of appropriate `wows'
and `cools' were heard, I really must set about cleaning my car now
that I've seen the others.
Stuart cunningly managed to reposition WeeWee outside the main
entrance and was getting an even bigger `passing trade' crowd (and
err some fingerprints when I left!).
In previous years my secret life was as a massive Trek fan and I saw
several old acquaintances, which was great. My excuse for not
attending any of their events recently, a nod in the DMC display
saying I had one of those, was accepted with an appreciative smile.
I collected my new poster / wall-chart, call it what you will, it is
magnificent. Andy Snell has done a fabulous job. Other than your DOC
renewal this should be next on your Christmas list. My own wall will
now be rearranged to make room for it alongside pictures of  `Boeing'.
As a personal request/suggestion if Andy was to make any other images
available from the `exploded' photoshoots I would be extremely
interested. A quality technical diagram with the various components
labelled would be invaluable. Poor Chris and Co. patiently explained
where the clutch master cylinder was for my benefit. How cool would
it be to have a definitive tech poster we could all refer to? Just
being able to see at a glance where the wiring looms run is worth the
£20 alone!
PS The www.deloreans.co.uk appears to be back. However much of the
technical stuff in the member area is missing.
