What about a Death Race 2000 theme - where points are awarded for taking out
other cars and pedestrians?

For those of you too young/old/forgetful to remember, Death Race 2000 was a
famous/infamous movie starring David Caradine (Mr Kung Fu) and Sly Stallone.
It was made in 1975 when the year 2000 was a lifetime away and everyone was
expected to be hovering to work in silver jumpsuits. Oddly enough, 1975 was
about the time the DMC12 was first sketched up.

And yes, the film was rubbish!
