That was it Martin, I knew it was something to do with the US Military
radio frequencies, but couldnt remember exactly what.

Just looked up the station we were listening to in Houston last year,
which was "106.9 The Point" - classic 80's tunes with crappy cheesy
adverts every 2 minutes....

Colm, not sure where your based, but alot of local stations run on 2
different frequencies (in our area of Hertfordshire Hertbeat is on
106.9 and 107.6 and Chiltern is on 97.6 and 96.9).  I'm sure if you
scan through you'll find more then R2 and R3 if Shostacovitch is
getting somewhat repetetive ;o)
