It really is worth investing n a compressor..... But we did get one off 
using a breaker bar, lots of penetrating oil, a bit of heat and someone 
standing on the brakes while in 5th.
You must bolt the heads back down.
Our compressor is actually in Baldock at the moment, you're welcome t 
oborrow it (it's a little thing). I was dismantling my 25 turbo engine 
in my mate's garage and needed it for getting the crankshaft nut off!
