Ok then I will try that. Removing the fascias doesnt seem like the easiest job in the world either, but who siad restoring one of these cars would be easy.

Unless it actually needs straightening then I would paint it on the
car.

Make sure you use a primer, else the new paint may react with the
old and have some weird effects :-)

Most body shops I have dealt with very rarely remove car parts to
paint them , thay are just very good at masking bits off.
