Its a Renault R4141 autobox fitted to the Renault 25 & 30 of similar year to
the Delorean.

Most  Auto-gearbox reconditioners will charge about £350 to £400 to overhaul
the software in the box.

Unless the differential is noisy it should be OK and a change of oil
wouldn't hurt.
