Tell your Dad to tell his colleague he's talking nonsense. For example, 
the dash dimmer's from a TR6, the fusebox is from an Escort, the engine 
related stuff is 99% bosch (it's fuel injected, remember!), the interior 
lights are renault, the centre console switchgear is too....
