Why did Lotus destroy one of the original Bill Collins prototype's? 
Surely they did not own them, and would not have had the right to 
destroy them? They did not do any development work on these cars, 
they simply scrapped that design path and copied over their Esprit 
technology.

What a waste, I think those original prototypes were really 
beautiful...
