Well, the pulley on ours is the same size as a motorola for the simple
reason that any bigger and the belt's a pain to put on! It also comes
down to the physical size of the windings - not sure why, probably a
"rough'n'ready" way of guaging their output, but certainly the Bosch
units are considerably heavier than the Ducellier! They're designed to
work "8 days a week" according to our supplier.

BTW none of this affects our ability to get the Motorola units rebuilt -
what makes the DeLorean units unique is the pattern of the casing, the
internals are readily available.
