Apparently our illustrious government is all set to increase road tax in
this budget...

But had you heard about the new gas guzzling road tax they intend to
introduce for vehicles over 2 litres? Yes I was surprised too - I
sincerely hope it comes to nothing...There was talk of an annual charge
of £1000!!!!!!!!!!

Even half that would be crippling - the thought of paying ten pounds a
week, just to be able to drive my D is quite concerning...
