I don't like the idea of using any kind of oil on the stainless. Dust
sticking to the oil is one problem, but if you don't like fingerprints
showing up then stay away from it.
Years ago I have tried something... by accident and I love the results. It
removes fingerprints and keeps them off. Dust doesn't stick to it at all.
Try it on a small section and see what it does for you.
I use water repellant that is normally used for windshields. Something like
Rain-X. I don't like this product on my windshield and I've never used it.
My brother was using it and spilled it on my fender. I tried wiping it off
and was really surprised at what I saw. Nice shine, no fingerprints, no
dust... I really like it! Try it instead of the oil.
