I have never been involved in a rental yet, but I know that if you do this and also charge, you need to check with your insurance to see if you are covered. You may need to have a special policy issued for that day. Also, have a written contract as to what the car will be used for. Make sure that they don't plan to do something stupid like sit on the hood and that if someone does, you are covered by the insurance that you or they have taken out with you being named as the insured.
