Perhaps you thought I was holding a late '82 version? My manual transmission operation page is different from your .pdf file for sure. It warns of the gear grind and explains how to prevent it. The next time I know our paths will cross I'll bring one with me to show you. The one from my car came with a white dealer list I mentioned in Orlando.
