I have seen a lot of conversions, some good, many bad. Some done by owners and some done by "professionals". They turn out only as good as the amount of money spent. Some go to great lengths to try to achieve authenticity and others are happy to make it look like a pile of junk attached to the car. As for the basic car some don't do anything to it and it runs like sh-t. Again, it is up to the individual owner as to what he wants to do. As for totals it is probably less than 3 dozen including the movie cars.
