Although I am more or less a "keep it original" guy, I have to say that I agree with the above statement.   Anybody who buys or keeps a DeLorean because they think it is the most practical way to purchase transportation is pretty clearly out of his or her mind. Owning and driving a D is a hobby.  What possible criterion could one use to judge a hobby other than personal satisfaction?  K-Jet, carburetion, electric -- convert to steam if you want to.  It seems to me that the greater the diversity, the more interesting the hobby.   No?
