And the Mustang is 16 years older with 16 year older technology than a Delorean and yes, over 1 million early Mustangs were made in 1 year. It was also, an economy car with the 6 cylinder engines, a sportier car with a v-8, a convertible and the super sports car when it became a Shelby, etc..
Along with Tom's request for 0-60 time, I am interested in hearing what kind of fuel economy you are getting with the carb and if you have dyno tested it to see what the horsepower is.
