Do not buy gas in the dead zone between Daytona and Jacksonville FL. There is one gas station in a 100 mile radius -- a geographical fact the owner is keenly aware of and reflects in his pump prices accordingly. It's at times like that you thank your lucky stars for a 13 maximum gallon gas tank.
