I could be many things. I do not believe 90k miles is all that high. I
could just be a simple liner seal. The cost of a replacement and a rebuild
might be the same.
I would pull it and check it first before entertaining a replacement. Most
internal engine parts are still available.
However... if you are in dire straits I do have a spare DeLorean engine and
2 PRV 3.0L sitting in my shed. I would be hard pressed to lose the DeLorean
engine but I might be talked out of one of the 3.0Ls. Either way any engine
will likely need some recon.

Subject: [DML] DeLorean Engine
I'm in need of a DeLorean engine. I would entertain any leads!
Mine has over 90,000 miles on it and is taking in coolant in the oil pan. I
can tear it down and see what the issue is but with 90,000 miles I probably
have lots of issues internally, the rear main seal is leaking - again and,
I'm afraid the coolant leak is probably a seal(s) on the jugs so, the block
may very well be shot.
Before I consider a conversion to a non DeLorean engine I was wondering who
might have a lead on a DeLorean replacement.
My email is not hidden if you want to contact me off the list.
