Like products made in any country, some American products are high quality and some are crap. American hand tools are very high quality -- certainly higher quality than made in china hand tools. Likewise American taps & dies are much higher quality than made in china counterparts. Buying American in both of those instances not only supports domestic industry, but also gives you a better product. That was my argument. I also mentioned Annin flags, which are very high quality as well. Next time you need a flag, try one -- you will be pleasantly impressed.
