Hi Welmoed, I'm sorry but I just don't buy those figures. While it's
true that on a perfectly flat road driving at a constant speed you could
run any pickup down to 5 litres, I've driven a DeLorean with 5 litres of
fuel in it and it was completely undrivable in any but the most gentle
corner or the most gentle accelleration.
The point of a baffle is to allow the car to run *as normal* when the
tank gets low.
