I have had to use my spare twice on the Delorean. Both times it was the a rear tire that got messed up. Both of these times were in the late 90's. I would use my spare today if needed. The tires that I just replaced on the rears were 16 years old and had no dry rot. They had just worn out. ----- Original Message ----- From: drhdmc1 Date: Wednesday, April 25, 2012 12:00 pm Subject: [DML] Spare Tire To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > it all comes down to risk and being prepared as others have said. > > Like many of you I have a brand new never been mounted original > donut spare tire for my car.
