A friend of my recently got a Nissan Leaf.   It does not come with a spare tire. 

This seemed okay since he has not had a flat tire with his Prius in 5 years.  

But guess what?  In his first week of driving, he got a flat tire with his Leaf!

And No spare tire!   The sidewall got slashed when he hit a curb.
