Every Lotus since the Esprit has no spare - Elise S1, S2, Federal versions, Exige, Elan and Evora. Since around 1995 or '96 neither have Lamborghini, Ferrari, Zonda, Spyker, Bugatti, some BMWs (Z3 and Z4 come to mind), I'm sure there are more. In my personal experience, I have wasted far more fuel hauling around dead weight in the form of a spare tire than I would have saved in tows for the 2 times I needed a spare. And that is over roughly a million miles traveled. Had I gotten a flat tire on the way home, *ALL* tire shops would have been closed (except the truck stops of course, which deal in 22 inch rims). AAA is what it is, but what it isn't is a substitute for a usable spare tire -- a piece of emergency survival gear that has been standard equipment on every single automobile ever built since the Model T forward.
