[DML] escutcheon - wobbly and loose

Hi,

My passenger side door escutcheon refuses, despite firm encouragement, to click and stay in place. The little tabs are still all there but they just don't grab the metal frame underneith sufficiently well.  Any enthusiasm with the door latch - especially with two fingers - and the escutcheon pops loose.

Has anyone figured out a good way to secure it down that still leaves it removable for door maintenance?
