While I hate to jump in here.... but... as someone who has worked a fair
amount of time with both carburetors and FI I thought I'd note a few
things...
First -in general- properly tuned FI and Carbs do equally well at 2 points
WOT and idle. Its everything in between where FI shines.
Obviously, Bill is more familiar with carbs, and that is ok. I think if he
takes the time to really learn about FI and become accustomed to it his bias
might change.
Also, I will note that a properly tuned k-jet system is extremely
accurate... not necessarily a performance system (reaction time is not the
fastest) but it does hold stoich very well and has great drivability.
While the k-jet is somewhat complicated (it's mechanical) more modern FI I
find to be simpler and easier to work on than any carb.

A beautiful example of you deflecting that which defeats your own argument.
Did you even read past the subject?
I'm not even sure you know *how* a carb works... Venturi effect? static
versus total pressure? Surprise me....

Point of order: PRV's themselves suck. All a carburetor does is respond to
that suction as it passes through.
