[DML] Rivnut replacement...

In the process of investigating my clutch failure I have come to find that a
number of my rivnuts spin.... anyone have a good guide on replacing these?

Do I need to fill the holes with fiberglass resin and re-drill?  

Also, over time the corners of some of the panels have been broken off... If
I have to do some fiberglass work can these be repaired easily?
