My best advice would be to show the seat to a local upholstery guy.  They 
probably have some hogrings on hand they could sell you.

Hello friends!  I have recently started the process of recovering my seats myelf 
with the dmch covers and have run out of hog rings.  Where on the interwebs can 
I find a box of appropriately sized hogrings to use for the drivers seat?
