Grounds have a funny way of working. There are other ground paths, even through the radio (like, the antenna).. Like I said, I am not questioning your work here, just speaking of my experiences. But, my initial question is still unanswered. Have you been chastised for this "ground bus"? Has anyone found fault with it? --- On Fri, 3/23/12, content22207 <brobertson@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > From: content22207 <brobertson@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: Re: [DML] Ground Bus > To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Date: Friday, March 23, 2012, 11:15 AM > The only way that could help is if > the car is having problems with its bulkhead bolt to frame > wire (the 6 gauge wire that runs from behind the coil to > underneath the coolant expansion tank), and even then the > effect would be minimal because the radio bracket is only > connected to the foremost console junction by a single 16 > gauge wire -- there is no other ground connection to the > radio bracket, and the radio bracket is of course > electrically isolated from the frame. > > Speaking of which: everything from the rear bulkhead forward > (including everything in back of the car grounded via the > bulkhead connectors) is totally dependent upon the bulkhead > bolt to frame wire mentioned above.
