Possible..

But a big difference in Build..the Delorean is Built on a MILD Steel Frame..integrated with the Black body's High density Foam "bumpers" backed/ bonded onto Aluminum panels and the High density Foam Filled  firewall/Lower Horizontal H.D.side rails and Vertical Roll panel and the SS beams inside the gull wing doors that integrate it all together.

On the Bricklin it starts with a overbuilt Massive steel Frame..with built in shock absorbers with a Massive Steel backed front and rear bumpers built with a very high shock absorbing materials.

Attached to this Full oversize frame is a very massive "birdcage" frame/Roll cage that totally surrounds the passengers in both vertical and Horizontal Dimensions/ positions added to that are very heavy and massive gull-wing doors with a massive honeycomb side impact Beam built into the doors for both side impacts and to absorb/transfer frontal and rear impacts..AROUND the Passengers..rather than through the passengers.This is WHY Hydro or air doors were needed..and manual windows were installed..as the doors are too heavy to open if flipped.

Also the Bricklin Panels were Engineered to Absorb the shock of impacts..as they were made from Fiberglass and Acyclic was bonded onto the surface of the panels to absorb shock..in fact during the Premiere showing of the Bricklin a hammer was placed next to a Bricklin and people were allowed(with permission) to hit the front fenders with the hammer..to show that they could not be damaged and Absorbed the shock from the hammer without damaging the Fenders.. 

All in all the Bricklin's main Claim to fame was as a Sports safety Vehicle SV-1 (Safety Vehicle Model 1)

On the other Hand The Delorean started Out as a Sports Safety Vehicle(remember the designation it was originally given as a DSV ..Delorean Safety Vehicle..then DMC12..Then just De Lorean..

JZD backed off on the DSV and went with MINIMAL Safety Standards just enough to Pass DOT standards(cost and weight savings)hence the mild steel frame and Not a SS frame as he envisioned(cracking problems in severe cold climates)or using a steel cage to surround the passengers or even integrated into the Fiberglass body(cost savings)by using the process that he used.

All in all I FEEL SAFER in a Bricklin..more than in a Delorean..Just my gut feelings...
