"K" is used in the automotive world (as well as in most trades" as the equvalent of 1000 = one thousand due to a "kilo" in weight which is used as a METRIC amount of 1000 kiloGRAMS = 1 Kilo = 1K :-) Best regards Ken BoettcherCarsales and international trade
