Bill - I said nothing about Heim joints in my post.  And yes, a single Heim 
joint is less compliant than a block of rubber.

Are you seriously arguing that a HEIM joint is less compliant, in virtually 
complete spherical motion, than a bolt flexing in rubber? That is ridiculous.
