You are right...! 
After watching it a second time I saw the "flash" where they showed the close-up of the gas flap hood,while at the same time showing your Delorean..It sure had me fooled into thinking your car had the gas flap hood,then seeing the(your car)in the studio without a gas flap hood,made me automatically assume it was not the same car.

Thanks for clarifying that up...
