Ive was running a cb in my D for a long time and now have a 2 meter unit in there. I basically used a mirror mount but mounted it using self drilling screws into the stainless. It is mounted in between the louver and the rear quarter, behind the rubber seal that the louver rests on, so you cant see the holes if I ever take it off, I can just patch and glue. Works great but you will need to run a ground to it, not hard. The wire runs down to the coil cover and then into the cabin. Works great and it will never been seen if I take it off. Shoot me an email if you want some pictures on exactly what I used, I don't have them on hand right now.
