Thanks Toby - nope haven't used Armorall for years (thinking over 15), just placed the dash mat on in February placed a car cover on the car and now the brown mess.. the car was stored indoors in a temp controlled space!! > > > > Randal > > Randal - Did you by chance use Armorall on the dash before covering it up? I understand from some detailers that I know that it has a definite tendency to turn brown after awhile. They tell me that when you see tires with a brownish tinge to them, it invariably means that Armorall has been applied. As far as a solution to this, I will have to track these guys down and ask them for the old family secret on how to remove this effect from vinyl. I would suggest that some of the high quality vinyl and rubber cleaners might be able to remove this issue. Perhaps 3M? > > 3M PRODUCTS > Vinyl Cleaner & Restorer > Model # 153226 | Manuf. # 09029 > > Toby Peterson VIN 248 "Winged1" > DMC Northwest > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
