Marty, We have seen these pictures of this electric delorean. What makes this car different from Dave's and mine is the use of an AC drive train. AC controllers are $10-20K with the motor. They are using the $20k motor and controller. The use of AC allows regenerative braking. This can increase range 10 - 25%. DC drives do not allow regen braking at the typical amps used by cars. As for their projected range, I think it is a little optomistic given the limit battery storage space in a stock D. If they make the modifications like I have done, it would be more probable.
