[DML] Re: Insurange to cover total car cost?

I've had Hagerty for years and they do require a garage and another vehicle for everyday use before they will insure. With that said they have never mentioned a mileage restriction to me and I've called them more than once to ask it's ok, for example, to drive with a DeLorean group from Minnesota to the Canadian Rockies or other destinations from time to time.  Their answer was always "Have fun." I don't think they'd approve of using it as a daily commuter but they don't seem to be as restrictive as other collector car insurance companies. One of their better attributes is they don't compound the liability premium for more than one collector car. They realize you can only drive one vehicle at a time.
