IMHO, If I had to replace the fans, I'd get Hervey's fan set. Much lower
current draw, much lighter weight. ChicagoPaul

I've been using the stock fans from '81 and have yet to overheat due to the
fans. I've overheated due to a bad radiator cap and that's it but eventually the
fans like anything else are liable to fail with parts that wear... I know John
at SpecialT sells aftermarket/updated fan setups.
