Hello,
I have serviced my warm up regulator today. including cleaning dirty screen and ambient air pipe was clogged.
I have the following data, wondering if someone could give it a once over.
note: new fuel pump and boot along with tank cleaned out yesterday
1. heater voltage - good
*** voltage when car is running
2. heater resistance - 18.7 ohms
*** later testing shows slow and constant pressure rise on cold engine started to 3.8 bar upon plugging in.
3. rest pressure - good
*** after running pump on cold engine from rpm relay, then shutting pump off
3.00 bar @ 8:39
2.75 bar @ 8:42
2.68 bar @ 8:49
2.55 bar @ 8:56
4. closed pressure
**** with pump running, no engine, engine cold
70psi / 4.8 bar
5. open pressure
**** with pump running, no engine, engine cold
36psi / 2.5 bar
6. open pressure warm engine running , no vacuum to WUR
3.7 bar
7. open pressure warm engine running 13.3hg through 16.2hg vacuum to WUR
between 1.7 to 1.8 bar
8. vacuum delay valve test on delay valve from 16hg down to 8 hg
10 seconds
any thoughts on this
thanx
Jordan Rubin
