[DML] Torque converter seals

I recently replaced the shaft seals on the engine and auto transmission. Afetr returning back from DCS this weekend I noticed a puddle under the car and no transmission fluid in the trans. I looks like the new torque converter seal has failed.
Is there a special alignment procedure to align the torque converter with the flex plate so the two are concentric. That would be the only reason I can think of for the new seal to fail so soon.
