[DML] Windshield wiper questions

Hello group,

My windshield wiper has started acting oddly, and I was wondering if anyone knows what's going on with it.  One day they stopped working altogether, but when I would try to turn them on, I heard a click from under the binnacle area.  I checked for any mechanical issues with the system, but found none.  Recently, I tried using them again and they worked four times and then stopped and went back to the click sound.  
Any help is greatly appreciated.
