I like the optima, because it is sealed cells and does not leak or vent acid. This to me is ideal for the location of the battery in the DMC. YMMV.

Subject: [DML] What battery is recommended?
Hi all. I am trying to search the old post, but not finding much. I want to replace my batter, and know I need a group/type 78 side post version, but forget the details. Also, is there any real difference between and Optima, Sears Die-hard, and a batter I can pick up at Walmart? If Walmart is OK, what kind should I choose?
Thanks!
Paul
