If you want to see if any new gas is going to hurt the O Rings in the
distributor then take one and put it in any gasoline for 48 hours. This is
how long it takes to swell or start deterioration of them. This has come up
many times in the Porsche discussions and so far none of the mixtures of gas
has hurt the nitrile O rings.
