Luis - In addition to the great information that Dave Swingle offered, we apply a little extra urethane adhesive (we use 3M Window Weld) so that it squeezes out a bit around the edges. After the glue dries (at least 12 hours, and preferably an entire day), we use a razor blade or similar sharp knife to carefully trim a nice beveled edge around the opening. This gives the installation a really nice finished look.
