Well, I got a reply off-list. Owner blew off the suggestion of me coming to 
 see it and "it will be listed on eBay." Maybe Tom or Marc will get to see 
it, or  on the other hand, maybe he's just fishing for a starry-eyed sucker 
to pass his  unhappiness along to, rather than an owner who knows more 
realistically what  it's actually worth. Who can tell?
As always, if you're looking to buy a car, collectable or common, cheap or  
pricey, DeLorean or Dodge, eBay or in print, never buy it sight unseen, 
even if  it's "the deal of a lifetime."
