You'll be extremely lucky if the studs come out. New ones are in the kit. If you are unlucky they break off, especially the hard to get at ones in the back. 

Then you get to learn about right angle drills, time-serts or heli-coils, and some new swear words. 

Heat the nuts cherry-red with an acetyline torch and they will come off easily. If you don't have a torch rent one. It's that important. 

If the studs are solid you can re-used them but it's highly recommended that you replace them. The ones at the back of the engine seem to be the bad ones. 

This is a really good job to leave to someone else on a rusty car.
